COMO Cordeillan-Bages opened in May 2026 in Pauillac, on Bordeaux's Left Bank, as COMO Hotels and Resorts' debut in the Médoc. It is a restored 19th-century property run in close collaboration with the Cazes family, owners of Château Lynch-Bages, and a conversion of a château that has been a hotel since 1989. A February 2026 release gave 1 May as the reopening date, and the opening release is dated 21 May.
The hotel has 28 rooms and suites, including two COMO Suites. Paola Navone redesigned the interiors in greys, whites and metallic blues, with lime-washed walls. Rates start from €350 a night in low season, and the hotel is seasonal, open from March to November. It is around 70 minutes from the centre of Bordeaux.
Chef Fabien Ferré, who went from zero to three Michelin stars in 2024 at La Table du Castellet, directs the food, with Mathieu Martin as executive chef. The wine cellar holds over 1,600 references. COMO Shambhala wellness comes with a 25-metre heated outdoor pool, a gym and a sauna, and guests get complimentary daily group tastings through the partnership with Château Lynch-Bages.
“COMO Hotels and Resorts unveils the 28-room COMO Cordeillan-Bages, marking the brand's debut in Bordeaux's revered Médoc region.”
