The Langham, Seattle is slated to open in 2030, according to Langham Hospitality Group's release of 28 April 2025. The group's first announcement, on 7 September 2022, had said 2026. The hotel and The Langham Residences will occupy a 42-story building rising from the 1916 Terminal Sales Annex Building, a designated Seattle landmark, in downtown Seattle. The group said it will own and manage the hotel.
Kengo Kuma & Associates designed the tower, drawing on Pacific Northwest basalt sea stack formations and the telescopic volumes of Seattle's 1920s Art Deco buildings. Rottet Studio designed the interiors of the 187 guestrooms and suites, and most rooms are planned with views of Puget Sound.
There will be a light-filled breakfast room with a terrace above the restored facade, a cocktail bar at lobby level with a Pacific Rim twist, and a Chuan Spa with a pool and a gym. Pike Place Market, the waterfront piers and the Seattle Art Museum are within a ten minute walk.
