Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur opened on August 7, 2025, as the Park Hyatt brand's first hotel in Malaysia. Hyatt describes the opening as the brand reaching 50 properties worldwide. It occupies levels 75 to 114 of Merdeka 118, which Hyatt calls the tallest skyscraper in Asia Pacific.

There are 252 guestrooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows. Suites add living areas, a walk-in dressing room and a personal study area, and some rooms have private dining spaces. G.A Group designed the interiors around the traditional Malay Kampung house, and Artlink selected the art.

Dining runs across three venues. Merdeka Grill, under Executive Chef Stig Drageide, serves premium cuts and sustainable seafood. Park Lounge serves traditional Malaysian dishes all day, plus an afternoon tea served in courses. Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, described as the city's first chocolate-themed bar, pours chocolate themed cocktails with live bossa nova.

The wellness floor is the 99th. It has a yoga studio, a fitness center, private treatment suites, an aromatherapy steam bath, a vitality pool and a 30-meter infinity pool. Hyatt says the spa is one of the only ones in Southeast Asia to offer circadian therapies. Guests can also book a guided visit to the Merdeka 118 precinct, including Stadium Merdeka, Al-Sultan Abdullah Mosque and the Merdeka Textile Museum.
