Waldorf Astoria Tokyo Nihonbashi is set to open in autumn 2027, according to Hilton's roundup of October 29, 2026. Hilton's June 2026 release gave only the year, 2027. It will be the brand's first hotel in Tokyo, following Waldorf Astoria Osaka. The hotel will occupy nine floors, levels 39 to 47, of a mixed-use development in the Nihonbashi district, directly connected to Nihonbashi Station and near Tokyo Station and Ginza.
It will have 197 guest rooms of 60 square metres and up, three restaurants and Peacock Alley, the brand's lounge and bar. An indoor pool, a spa and a fitness center are planned. The 583 square metres of meeting and event space include a ballroom and a chapel. Waldorf Astoria Residences Tokyo Nihonbashi, with 71 residences developed by Mitsui Fudosan and Hilton, is due in autumn 2027 as well.
