Miraval The Red Sea opened in June 2026 on Shura Island, within Saudi Arabia's Red Sea destination. It is the first Miraval outside the United States. Hyatt's earlier releases had said late 2025 and then the first quarter of 2026.
The resort is adults only, for guests above 18, and all-inclusive. The nightly rate covers meals, more than 20 group activities a day, airport shuttle transfers and a daily resort credit of $189 (SAR 700) per guest for spa treatments and other paid experiences. The transfer from Red Sea International Airport takes 20 to 30 minutes by electric vehicle.
Foster + Partners and Rockwell Group did the architecture and interiors. There are 180 guestrooms, suites and villas. Rooms measure 47 square meters, suites 94 or 121 square meters, and 20 beachfront villas have one to four bedrooms, full kitchens and private pools.
The Life in Balance Spa covers about 40,000 square feet. Hyatt's release counts 39 treatment rooms and the resort's own page counts 44. Rosemary is the main restaurant, with plant-forward cuisine, alongside Palm Court Café and Coral Cove. Programs include Arabic calligraphy, perfume blending, desert stargazing, kayaking through the mangroves and zip-lining.
“Miraval Resorts & Spas has announced the opening of Miraval The Red Sea on Shura Island, marking the brand’s first destination outside the United States”
